In your relationship with your mentor you can look forward to genuine respect and empathy because, as you will discover, it’s quite a personal relationship which thrives on honest and open communication.
While mentors can teach to pass on skills and knowledge; a mentor's real value lies in the awakening of their protege's awareness of their own abilities and potential. Most of us find our own potential obscured from ourselves until someone with awareness and understanding points it out and shows us how to leverage it.

Mentoring may not be a magic wand that automatically creates success, but mentorship definitely encourages you to find the best in you. The mentors at Changemakers are veteran storytellers who:
- Genuinely want you to be successful, in your own estimation.
- Will make themselves available to commit real time and energy to the mentoring relationship.
- Are willing to share failures and personal experiences.
- Tell you “how I did it right” and their “how I did it wrong” stories.
- Remain curious learners with an open mind to deepen their knowledge.
